What a great show glad I went. Hope to see it again one day.

Another stunning performance from Townsend Theatre Productions. The script, songs and cast for 'Rouse Ye Women'are just perfect. John Kirkpatrick's songs are inspirational and Bryony Purdue is made for the role of Mary Macarthur. John's songs deserve to be available on CD. Once again, the Company has excelled in telling such an important story. The production was an absolute joy from beginning to end.

I didn't have a pen with which to fill out your feedback sheet after the first Oxford show this week, so.... Great performance, acted with passion and verve, appropriately arousing and engaging. And inspiring! We forget at our peril the achievements of organised women labour, still so necessary. It's not easy to get Oxford audiences singing, but your wonderful actors did so - albeit in characteristically muted fashion. Albert's black country accent was authentic, if faltering - I grew up in Cradley Heath, so I know! Thanks to you all.

Went to 'Rouse Ye Women' last night at Barton-on-Humber Ropery Theatre. A stunning performance and an inspring story. Come back soon!

What a show! Saw ‘Rouse Ye Women’ at Birnam Arts Centre last night and the brilliant cast and terrific songs had the place absolutely buzzing. There was barely an empty seat and every one of ya felt part of it by the end - which is kind of the point - but it was delivered with such passion and commitment you couldn’t fail to be swept up and moved.

I didn’t know the story of Mary Macarthur or Craidley Heath chain-makers and really didn’t know what to expect from a “folk ballad but - wow! - I’m not likely to forget now!

Just come back from a fantastic night in Birnham, Great Theatrical experience. Really felt like one of those women fighting for their rights. Very well done.

Thoroughly enjoyed your show at Sands Films on Saturday. I had never heard anything about Mary Macarthur or the women chain makers before and was both enlightened and entertained.
